Following the unexpectedly huge interest of Arduino U #1, A.U.2 hits the Artifactory again for a wednesday night of Arduino whackiness and insight. The Artifactory’s resident Arduino users will be on-hand to help novices and beginners get their laptops and arduinos talking, advanced arduino users can meet and swap tips, compare daughter boards, and so on. Brett Downing is going to give a talk on How To Get More Out Of Your Pins – the basics of using multiplexers and similar devices to sense with and control more gadgets than the limited number of Arduino I/O pins would appear to allow you.

Attendees will need a laptop, USB cable, Arduino, we recommend a bread-board for prototyping circuits. The Artifactory will have limited numbers of Arduinos and accessories for sale. If you need an Arduino, let us know ahead of time to make sure we have sufficient stock! The Artifactory has lots of LEDs, resistors, other basic components; even some stepper motors available for purchase.

Starts: 7:30pm. Cost: $10 to non-Artifactory-members.
