Arduino U – 19:30, Wednesday 25th February
Our Arduino “beginners kit” for Arduino U nights sold well last week! We have
10 6 kits remaining, each containing 1 non genuine Chinese Arduino “clone” and a selection of carefully selected basic electronic parts in a bespoke laser cut box. These will be sold “first come, first served”.
A number of folk have ongoing projects mentioned last week. Some beginners are working through the contents of their just purchased kits. Doug has an ultrasonic distance measuring project also involving a numeric pad and a 16×2 LCD screen running from three Arduino pins (with the help of a shift register and a helpful library). Another member has some addressable LED panels to test and play with – and intentions for an interactive wall with hundreds of buttons and “6144 Dazzling LED’s in a giant square (About 2m Wide)”.
Please don’t forget to BRING YOUR LAPTOP if you want to get the most out of your visit.
